My cousin just loves to play football – but the problem was that football didn’t love him back. He attended drills and put in extra time on the field, rain or shine, to improve his skills. There will be instances when he is the only boy practicing and he will still go ahead and kick the soccer ball over and over again towards the goal. In those days, he was often more exhausted retrieving the ball than practicing.
That’s when my aunt saw an ad for a soccer rebounder online. She brought one for my cousin so that he could continue practicing in their backyard as well. The rebounder also saved him the time of getting the ball out of the net, as the ball would bounce back to him or to the ground, depending on how he set up the equipment. Football rebounders also have a built-in target which allows them to improve their accuracy.
My cousin used to spend countless hours practicing with a soccer rebounder in his backyard — and sure enough, during his team’s next practice, the coach noticed an improvement in how he was playing. Not only have his soccer skills improved, but he was also able to score two goals, as he was able to guide the soccer ball perfectly where it wanted it to go!
The soccer rebounder was a wonderful investment for my aunt. It helped my cousin improve his game, and he eventually won the MVP award for his efforts. The award lifted his spirits and improved the way he communicates with the rest of the children, and as a result, he gained a special self-confidence that was not there before.
